Bethlehem Moravian College 
Research Day at Bethlehem Moravian College was indeed a memorable one. I enjoyed every moment of it. It was indeed a great learning experience for me. I have attended almost all the booths and have seen almost all the displays. My favourite displays were Mathematics and Science. I have learnt a few experiment in science; quite interested. My favourite being the black pepper and water experiment, where a small amount of black pepper were thrown in a small bowl with water and a toothpick was placed in liquid then use to separate the black pepper from the water. It was fun. I also learnt the difference between a 3D and a 2D shape; I know it was taught to me before but was never explained the way Shavon Dillon a fourth year student explained it. I have also visited my special area; literacy and learnt a thing or two about the APA format. I have also gone to two of the plenary sessions; one was about grammar, where the presenter touched on the SJE and the Jamaican creole and how person tend to use both at the same time. I have also learnt about technology and Geometry where presenter Mr. Fritt spoke about a research he did on teaching geometry the traditional way and by technology. The findings were rather interested. I really had a lot of fun at Research Day 2015 and I have learnt a lot also.

Research day here at Bethlehem Moravian College was an informative one, each presenter gave information on topical issues that would help us in this era. The key note speaker was very informative as he gave us some information on how research and development foster growth, education and economic development. The expositions were well put together put together especially the mathematics and the science room where a vast amount of mathematical games and experiments were been carried out. The education department exposition was also informative as it gave us information that would help us with our research . One of the greatest thing that happened at the research day was having our own students as presenters where they presents their action research finding and i think that was an excellent accomplishment for them. This type of information however will help us as third year students and other upcoming students on how to present our findings with the help of our lectures.

This research of 2015 has been a wonderful experience. In fact, I now appreciate the significance of it. The Research Day was designed to help me in my studies, specifically for the course called Introduction to Educational Research. For each research presenter, I could garner relevant information to better aid my studies.I can now understand the real life linkages to the course I’m doing. For the different Department Expo information disperse were informative. I must comment on the early childhood centre, it was a site to remember. The arrangement of the different stations were properly done and the information that was displayed was adequate. For the Mathematics Department the use of manipulatives in teaching is the best thing because it gives you a clearer understanding of topics.

Research day at Bethlehem Moravian College was very informative, especially to the third year students that are now doing the course Intro to Research. There were many presenters that would present on that day in which most of them were final year students at the college. The keynote speaker gave relevant information in his speech where he explained to us how research can foster growth and economic development. There were many expos to be seen. They were well put together and informative as it relates to the different areas. The Early Childhood Centre was extremely creative and informative. It consisted of displays of mini-schools where persons could see uniforms that would be worn, activities that would be done in the timetables and even meal plans for the students. They even had a school where Spanish would be taught. The final year students did very well in their presentations. It helped us as third years in our quest of doing the course and how to present our findings. Overall, research day was great. There was not only work and work and presentations but a little fun at the concert to ease our minds. Research day was well put together and informative.

Research day at Bethlehem Moravian College was a tremendous experience and a memorable one. It was a learning and exciting experience for me,as I visited all the booths and listen cautiously to what each booth had to offer. The morning session in the chapel was good as the different persons from different organizations presented their research which was very interesting and insightful. I went to one of the presentation which consisted of Mrs Delphine Williams a lecturer from Church Teachers college ,she presented on grammar and how it affects the Jamaican classroom using a software called socrative. This is a software which is used to set quiz and teach other subject areas. Mrs Julie Robertson a lecturer from Bethlehem Moravian College presented on climate and tourism ,which her research is of great interest as Jamaica benefits a lot from tourism. She opened my eyes a lot as to how much climate change affects country and the ways how climate hinders productivity. This was a very interesting research topic. I garner a lot of information from these individuals as it relates to research and being aware of everything that happens in our world and also our society. Overall Research day was a wonderful experience.

This year research day was a very interesting and insightful one as I learned a lot and I have become more enthusiastic about research. The keynote speaker delivered a wonderful presentation which was short and got straight to the point. There were also a number of displays from several departments but my favorite one was the Early Childhood’s display as it made me even more excited about my area of study. I also went to four presentation sessions, they were all interesting as i gathered a lot of information but the one that I liked the most, and I am not being bias, was one which was done by an EC students. As for the other presenters, I garner a lot of information as it relates to research and being aware of everything that happens in our surroundings. Overall I must say that Research day 2015 was a wonderful and memorable experience for me.

Research Day 2015 was a great experience. I have learned a lot from the different sessions. I was amazed with the different department displays and presentations. The key note speaker did a good job in teaching us how to do research in a simple way. The session that stood out the most was the presentation done on the Flipped Cooperative Learning Classroom: An Effective Blended Combination Adult Learners. The presenter was brief and on point in her presentation. Based on my prior knowledge and experience inside the classroom i could relate to her presentation. Her presentation was basically talking about a student centred classroom. The teacher act as a facilitator. Research Day was very informative and fun.

Research day 2015 at the Bethlehem Moravian College was phenomenal, the day flow smoothly. This research day has opened my eyes to so many things. It was evident that lots of work was put into the day proceedings and as such it paid off. What stood out for me during research were the Key note speaker and the displays that were showcased. The key note speaker he spoke profoundly on how research and development foster growth, education and economic development. His presentation was short and informative. On the other hand, the displays were awesome not to mention the Early Childhood Centre it was phenomenal. However, I had the opportunity to visit four of the concurrent sessions which informed us especially us as three year students on how to carry out our proposal. I have garnered so much information on research, especially from two Early Childhood presenters. This has given me the insight that, if they can do it I can do it also. Overall research day was awesome and one to remember.

Research day was an informative one as most of the topics presented will be of great help in doing my own research. It was a good experience for me as I visited the various booths and learnt new informatin. I found Miss. Willams presentation helpful as it relates to the topic that I am doing for my research which gave me a better understanding of what to do. Research day is a process that I think everyone should be apart of as it allows each individual to garner new information.

Bethlehem Moravian College 2015 research day was a memorable and interesting one. The morning sessions in the chapel was very effective as the keynote speaker cemented content that was learnt in a previous course. The information he delivered was very much useful, as we could relate to it and use it in our own research. He spoke to the fact that when carrying out a research, one must develop an appropriate proposal. This came in very handy because it fits perfectly with an assignment which require an appropriate proposal. I attended the two presentations and visited the different department exposition. the presentations were well put together. I am thrilled that i attended these presentation. They have shed some light on things that I was unsure of. The presentation put me at ease because I now understand exactly what to do when preparing my proposal. The different expositions and displays were very informative. They all stimulated curiosity and interest, especially the mathematics and the science display.

I loved the ‘Research Day,’ experience at Bethlehem Moravian College. The day was memorable, informative and entertaining. The main presentation in the chapel was very informative and it will definitely help me in Introduction to Research course and beyond. I was so existed to see my seniors presenting their action research and base on feedback from my batch-mates they did well. The displays were very entertaining and I was most impressed by the Social Studies department display.

research day 2015 at the Bethlehem Moravian College was very eye opening.it give me confidence and to feel more comfortable in taking on research process.the presentation made by students were very informative and help to guide me in doing my research proposal.i also learn several intervention strategies and data collection method that can be used.the exposition were also very creative.especially business department they gave me ideas for future en devours.

It was my best research day at BMC and there is nothing about it I have regret. The presentation of various research presented was very informative and have taught me a lot of educational information that will positively impact on my future.

Research Day 2015 at Bethlehem Moravian College was wonderful and well organized. The keynote speaker did a good job. He presented good information and it was not long and boring but it got straight to the point. I was enthused by the fact that my fellow pairs and schoolmates got the opportunity of to present their research. I enjoyed them all.
I was afraid of the course for many reasons and afraid that I would not do well. However, after listening to majority of the presentations on research day I must say that some things are clearer. I now realize what is expected of me and that research, even though, is a lot of work can be fun.
Finally the displays were remarkable. In particular, the early childhood centre.

Research day was a success from my point of view, it was will organized and informative. It was a good experience as it fits perfectly with my assignment. The displays were very informative especially the business department, mathematics and science. I was also pleased to see the final year students participating in the presentation

Research Day 2015 at Bethlehem Moravian College was informative and quite interesting. The keynote speaker was vibrant and he when straight to the point in his presentation. He gave quality information to aid in our endeavours. The session that I attended was really eye opening. It was really interesting to see my fellow schoolmate presenting on their research topic. It was really good so see that students were interesting in the different session and that the third years were enthused after going to these sessions. The only problem I had was that I was not able to go to all the presentations that was held on research day but overall it was good experience.

my experience at research day was dynamic and enthusiastic, therefore, saying that I’ve learn something new is not overstated. the various guest speakers gave informative discussions. by analyzing their presentation allowed me to scrutinize their work effectively which will help me in the far future.

Research Day 2015 was very informative and interesting. I had a valid opportunity, upon reflecting, to scrutinize various presenters presentation based on what i have garnered in Introduction to Research. However, the overall content of these presentations have challenged me to relate information to my daily life and what i learn overall. The expo’s were very informative the only problem i had with them is that as a third year student i was expected to make an evaluation of one of these expo’s in relation to Introduction to research, but was not given a variety of options to choose from as only one expo could be related to this course and that was the the Education dept. Overall a fairly good research Day

Research Day 2015 was very informative. I was able to critically analyze some presentations that were done on that day. Hence, i must have learned something in my Intro to research classes. I garnered new knowledge that could help me with completing my research proposal. Overall it was a good research day.

Research Day at Bethlehem Moravian College was indeed a memorable one. This was indeed a tremendous learning experience for me. The keynote speaker delivered a remarkable presentation which was indeed short and spicy. There were also a number of displays from several departments but my favorite one was from the science department. I have learnt a few experiment in science; quite interested especially the one with the black pepper. This is to show that these are simply experiment that can be done at your home. From this research day, I have learnt that research plays a critical role in ones growth and development.

Research day at Bethlehem Moravian College was indeed an experience which will last me for a life time.i visited the Science and Math department. As the theme at the science booth suggest “where open minds grow” i would say this was a very good one. i was not too old to learn new things that were displayed at the booth. Being able to have seen animals and plants from the sea affixed with their names, i was able to make connections to the ones i saw when i went to the beach. I also came across information that spoke about a harmful substance that lipstick contains, this was definitely an eye opener for me. Experiments were also done that i will be able to execute in my science lessons in the future. At the math department i was shown how to use the geo-reflector to construct a diagram, i played a geo-game with Ms.Dobson it was fun for me to threw the dart.I attended two presentation, they were very informative, but one stood out because the presenter research was similar to my research. It was definitely a tremendous experience being at research day.

Wow, what a day to remember!!! Bethlehem Moravian College’s Research Day 2015. This day is now gone in history. It was a pleasure for me to have shared in the Research Day experience. It was one filled with exuberance, lots of information and very educational. The different booths had a wide range of information being displayed. The sessions and the speakers were well informed about their content. I have learnt a lot. The day was a good one overall. Congrats to the organizers for a job well done.

Bethlehem Moravian College 2015 research day was an unforgettable and fascinating one. The morning sessions in the chapel were very helpful as the keynote speaker covered content that was learn in a previous course. The information he delivered was very much useful, as we could relate to it in research. This research day has opened my eyes to so many things. It was evident that lots of work was put into the day events. However, what stood out for me during research day were the Key note speaker and the displays that were showcased. His presentation was short and educational. On the other hand, the displays were amazing especially the science experiment.

Funny enough this research day was interesting and filled with unexpected results compared to last year. last year research was rather dull, boring and to me there was no significance of such day. I felt they should be creative. I had no plan to attend 2015 research day but because of course content I was compelled to. I was however not disappointed but rather very amazed at all the expo and research presentations that I saw; each was very entertaining and informative. The truth is, I really saw the relevance and feel the effects of a Research day. I was so taken up with the science presentation and the work of the maths department. They have done a great job in getting the students involved. I was rather excited when I saw my research booklet on a popular Caribbean disease ” High Cholesterol” being displayed, that have pushed me to continue to be a good researcher. Research day was very intriguing.

Research day was a success for me. My group displayed many useful information about science as we conducted many experiments. I also learnt a lot from the other areas that persons presented on.

On Research Day, I had the utmost opportunities of receiving insights about research and how it is benefits for me to research and broaden my knowledge. On research day, I was able to become aware of the importance of research and how I can research to become a better individual also research on any problem that might be of concern to me.

research day 2015 has benefited me in so many ways, it has given me the opportunity to interact with researchers, thus gaining information on the steps taken in conducting a research and the necessary tolls and skills needed in order to do so successfully. in short research day at Bethlehem Moravian College has widen my knowledge and build on the foundation that was already been set by attending introduction to research class.
