It is my belief that research in the classroom as well as the workplace is of utmost importance. The aim of research is to broaden one’s knowledge about specific topics as well as the discovery of new knowledge. It is through research that we are able to find credible information to pass on to students and other individuals. We research to find the solutions to problems and if this is practiced in the classroom and workplace then there is only room for improvement. They say knowledge is power but research is greater power with the right evidence to prove a variety of points. Research is a means of lightening one’s darkness and opening one’s minds to different and new knowledge.In a nutshell research is an active process that teachers and other professionals should practice in order to get positive results.

It is important for teachers and other professionals to conduct research in the classrooms and other workplaces as it permits educators to follow their interests and their needs as they investigate what they and their students and employees execute or achieve.Teachers who practice to conduct research find that it inflates and improves their teaching skills and puts them in collaborative contact with peers that have a common interest. Has for other professionals, it enhances their professional development and work ethics. Researching helps to develop teaching skills, knowledge and understanding. I must say that conducting research is an interesting and vital act as it also helps in planning and encourages collaborative working, which is important in any society (school or work place) when working towards a common goal.

I think it is a good idea for teachers and other professionals to conduct research since they will always be finding out new information and this will help their students as well as improve the business places. Research in the classrooms and business places is very beneficial and important. It is a means of ensuring that students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes which will prepare them for the future. when individuals engaged in research it helps them to develop new ideas which lead to growth and development.

According to the North Central Regional Educational Laboratory, Action research is inquiry or research in the context of focused efforts to improve the quality of an organization and its performance. It is typically designed and conducted by practitioners who analyze data to improve their own practice.
It is important that teachers carry out action research because this will help them to develop and improve their teaching strategies/techniques, Also help them to analyze their level of performance over a period of time. So I strongly, believe that teacher must do action research because this is a pathway that helps with improvement and development.

I strongly believe that teachers and other educators should conduct action research in the classroom. This will benefit them as well as their students in a positive way. When a research is being done in the classroom and otherwise the finding will help the teacher to become more effective in their teaching and meaningful learning will take place in the classroom.

Research plays an integral role in the life of those who have a zest for knowledge and are eager to find out about the “nitty gritty” of obscure strategies, concepts, ideas, hypothesis just to name a few. In light of this, conducting research in the classroom as well as the work place will help to identify the common held flaws/ challenges within that environment. After these challenges are been identified, then workable solutions can be tabled to minimize the weaknesses identified

I believe that as teachers or any other professionals; we do not always know everything and we will never know everything. One way to keep ourselves informed and up-to-date so that we may further enhance the lives of our students and customers is by conducting researches. Taflinger (1996) stated that the two main purposes of doing a research are to learn something, or gather information to prove something. Whatever the reason(s) of the research, it can benefit us as teachers or other professionals tremendously in the classrooms and workplaces, as by conducting research in our area of studies we are gaining new knowledge and understanding about how to improve practices. Therefore I believe that when teachers and other professionals conduct research in the classrooms and other workplaces it will positively contribute to them, the practitioners, and to their students and customers/patients etc.

What’s life without research? Would we find all our answers? Research plays an important role in our lives. It conducted to prove or disprove a hypothesis or to learn new facts about something. There are many different reasons for teachers and professionals conducting research within the classroom. Research is usually conducted to prove or disprove a theory and also to gain a better understanding of something or someone or to provide a solution to a problem. It is also useful to students as it compares with discovery learning.

I think that research is a necessity in any and every profession, but teacher on a whole need to be continually researching as this will allow them to keep up with current information and it will also enable them to keep a head of their students at all time. A research provides information which is not readily available and its main purpose is to inform action. Therefore, it is primarily important for teachers to conduct research in and out of the classroom to aid with decision-making, planning, time management, communication among other factors. As a matter of fact, teachers engage in research everyday, whether it is developing a lesson plan, assessing students various learning styles or sharing outcomes with students, which impacts the way they teach thus, highlighting the importance of conducting a research.

Researching allows one to pursue their interests, to learn something new, to work on problem-solving skills and to challenge one’s self in new ways. Therefore, I believe researching in the classroom and other workplace should be conducted as it helps one to see hidden problems and allows one to be able to develop new strategies or ways to help make classroom and workplace better. Researching allows one to work closely with a mentor or other knowledgeable associate with a self-initiated research assignment; one is left with a creation that represents the symbol of their interests and studies, and possibly, a real contribution to knowledge. Every occupation has its own research problems and methods. As researchers, one seeks answers to questions of great interest to themselves.

I believe that teachers and other professionals should engage in research as it will help them to discover new knowledge and to be current in their profession. According to Dictionary.com (2015), “ research is careful study of a given subject, field, or problem, undertaken to discover facts or principles.” Research help teachers in many ways which includes: to understand the behavior of students; to develop strategies to manage student’s behavior; it enlighten them of the various teaching methods to use to facilitate the diverse class population and it also helps them to solve existing problems and challenges that may develop within or outside the classroom setting.
